this is such a bad photo of such a great sandwich. last week’s pillow-soft launch was a dream. this week we actually want you to come pls. THIS SUNDAY AND EVERY SUNDAY 1PM till sellout BIFANA. sit by the pond and pretend you’re in lisbon (it will be a stretch)

i’d never eaten one till sam quietly started setting up casa do clapton in the corner but you know what they’re outstanding. a saucy new dawn, with cheese and mustard. and (crucially) pork. ask him how he makes the sauce

we’re also making pasteis de nata every sunday and i’m so happy with them. there was one left last week that i could have taken a photo of but i didn’t want to leave it unattended so i ate it

Sam & Joe are doing a special bake in aid of a Ukrainian charity that distributes bread to displaced civilians and soldiers. They employ people with disabilities as a priority, offering training and support
