Pour Decisions 🍇

This month, our Head of Wine, Fabrizio, shares what’s in the glass at The Barbary Notting Hill.

Birthdays, long lunches, dates that turn into dinner - it often starts with something sparkling. While Champagne may be the usual choice, we love shifting the spotlight. Pouring something unexpected is half the fun.

We’re loving , an English sparkling wine producer in Oxfordshire. A passionate husband-and-wife team, their wines are made exclusively from the finest grapes, carefully selected after at least 100 days on the vine. The result is an outside sparkling wine that reflects the season and the care behind every vintage.

Available by the glass at The Barbary Notting Hill.

What people say

Middle Eastern restaurants are known for their bold and exotic flavors, and The Barbary in Seven Dials, London is no exception. This restaurant takes inspiration from the Barbary Coast, where people migrated and collected ingredients and flavors from different areas to create unique dishes with a story to tell.

One of the standout features of The Barbary is its kitchen bar, where diners can watch as their food is prepared over a crackling fire. The smoky flavors add an extra layer of depth to already flavorful dishes.

Speaking of flavor, the GLC sauce at The Barbary is a must-try. Made with fresh lemon juice, red chilies, and garlic, this saucy number adds a tangy kick to any dish.

The bar at The Barbary is also worth mentioning. Set and ready for service, it offers a cozy escape from the cold while enjoying dinner with friends or family.

And let's not forget about the Barbarian Falafels - deep-fried balls of ground chickpeas and herbs like coriander, parsley, onion, and green chilies. These falafels are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - a perfect appetizer or snack to share.

Overall, The Barbary in Seven Dials offers a unique dining experience with bold flavors and dishes that tell a story. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
