As I am currently trying to create the ultimate in scone perfection, I have questions!

First question:
What shape do you like your scone to be? Round, square, or wedge shaped (triangular)?
Do you have a preference? Does it make any difference to the experience of indulging in a lovely scone?

So I am planning on baking another small batch of scones tomorrow. I am trying new flavour combos, and taste testing to make sure my scones are utterly PERFECT! Quality control and all that 😋

What flavours would you like me to make?
So far I have plans for the following:

All butter (classic, obvs)
Sultana
Orange and Sultana
Lemon
Lemon and blueberry
Lemon and poppy seed
St clement (orange & lemon)

Cheese
Cheese & onion
Cheese & bacon
Cheese, garlic & herbs

What other combos would you like to see? Suggestions are most welcome!

Ok, so I made some orange scones, my go-to and signature. You haven’t tasted scones like this, believe me. Nothing you can buy in a shop comes close. Shop bought scones last up to 2 weeks. What does that tell you? They are PACKED with stabilisers, preservatives and additives. Full of seed oils and chemicals.

My scones are made of 100% natural ingredients: flour, butter, sugar, milk and eggs, and flavoured with real fruit!!!

These will last up to 4 days in an airtight container. They can also be “refreshed” by placing in a warm oven for a few minutes prior to slathering with jam and cream! Or butter! These are so good that my Daisy eats them plain! No embellishment needed!

However, they are INCREDIBLY good with butter, cream and/or jam. Or any combination thereof!

If you love scones, afternoon tea, sweet treats, and REAL homebaked fayre, without the additives, e-numbers and faff, then please consider me for your next tea party or event. You won’t be disappointed!
