Another bank holiday means one thing, BBQ time! 🌳☀️
We’re bringing back our Local Meat Up event on Monday 25th May, firing up the grill and bringing you a delicious selection of local produce, including Angus Beef reared just 1 mile from the pub! It doesn’t get much more local than that.

🥓 Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we take it pretty seriously around here.
After enjoying a comfortable nights stay in one of our rooms or cottages, you’re welcome to join us for breakfast in the restaurant where you can choose from a selection of continental and cooked breakfast options, to make sure you start your day off right!

🐄The Local Meat Up is back this Bank Holiday Monday, 6th April!
We’re hosting our first Local Meat Up of the year , an easy, relaxed afternoon with the BBQ going, Barningham reared lamb on the grill, and wood-fired flatbreads to share.
The bar will be open from 2pm, food from 3–7:30pm.
No table bookings, but do give us a call if you’d like us to keep a space aside.

A lovely return this evening as we reopen the doors after a few quieter weeks 🍷
The fires on, the kitchen is back in full swing and it’s lovely to have the pub feeling busy again.
Mother’s Day is now fully booked, thank you so much to everyone who has reserved a table. We do still have a few tables available tomorrow for lunch and supper if you fancy joining us.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been quietly refreshing things behind the scenes, taking a little time to plan, refine and prepare for the months ahead.

To get to the destination in Barningham, Richmond via public transport, one can take a train or bus to Richmond Station and then switch to the 79 or X26 bus. One can get off at Barningham village and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the destination.
For those driving, they can take the A1 north towards Scotch Corner and then take the exit towards Richmond. From there, they should follow signs towards Barningham Village until they reach their destination. There is ample parking space available near the venue.
