Simi has kindly been fundraising for Charlton Toy Library with a collection tin at the deli, and raised an amazing £45.50 🤩

Simi has supported the Toy Library for years, first as a member when her children were little, and as a recent volunteer too! We’re so grateful for her continued support - and for everyone who donated so far.

If you’d like to help, as well as visit an amazing local deli in the heart of the village, the collection tin will still be available on the counter.

Focaccia recipe
330 g of warm water
4 g of dry yeast Caputo or Paneangeli
5 g of sugar
500 g Caputo flour
10 g of salt
15 g of olive oil.
Mix the water dry yeast and sugar.
Mix the flour with the salt.
Put the dry yeast mixed with the water over the flour and roughly knead. Add the olive oil.
Knead until smooth. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Put some olive oil on top and let it rise in the fridge overnight.
In the morning take it out of the fridge, put it in a tray with olive oil, spreading in with your fingers. Let it prove for another hour. Add your toppings. Put in the oven at 210°C for 30 minutes depending on your oven.
