Our Crab Kari Omelette, that has quickly become a favourite at Hoppers Shoreditch, pairs a comforting, fluffy omelette with crunchy podi-coated soft shell crab, a flaky thread parotta, and a generous pour of savoury crab gravy. It will transport you straight to the bustling mess halls of Madurai that inspired this dish.

Every strike has a silver lining...

During this week’s tube strikes (Tuesday –Thursday), anyone dining on the Hoppers Experience Menu gets a complimentary Mango Spritz, our spring special on us. It’s our little way of turning a frustrating commute into a reason to sit down, slow down, and eat well.

The Hoppers Experience is a proper feast of everything we do best. Short eats for the table, your choice of kari, then hoppers, dosas and sides for tearing, dipping and scooping. A little bit of everything, for everyone to share at £36 per person.

We’ve also got Ceylonese Iced Tea, Passionfruit Soda and House Ginger Beer as non-alc alternatives.

And because good hospitality goes further than our four walls,  £1 from every Mango Spritz will still go to Feeding the Future, our charity initiative, providing food and support to children in need in Sri Lanka.

Available across Soho, Marylebone, King’s Cross & Shoreditch, Tue 20 -Thu 22 May.

In Kerala, banana chips are the local go-to snack, loved and eaten just as much as a bag of crisps. Thinly sliced raw banana, fried in coconut oil until golden and crisp, then sprinkled with salt for a perfectly savoury crunch.

A familiar sight in Kerala is street vendors slicing through huge bunches of green bananas straight into giant woks of bubbling coconut oil, frying fresh batches through the day for people to snack on warm.

At Hoppers, we fry our banana chips fresh daily and serve them as a savoury snack to share over drinks. Best enjoyed with a cold Toddy Ale or one of our signature cocktails.

As the days get longer and our terraces at Marylebone and King’s Cross are in full swing, we are loving the familar buzz that arrives with the sun. Crispy hoppers fresh off the pan, cocktails carefully poured and our shorteats and karis making their way to the table.

It’s the season for long lunches, easy evenings and a few extra rounds with friends.

Kerala has a way of cooking fish that we fell in love with during our travels down the southern coast of India. It’s simple, honest, and full of flavour.

Our Kerala Sizzling Fish Kari is a salmon fillet wrapped in banana leaf, arriving at your table with a fragrant sizzle, and a creamy Kerala curry. Mild, comforting, and perfect for dipping a hopper or a dosa.

Exclusive to Hoppers Shoreditch. Book your table now.
