As our taprooms gear up for Halloween, the brew team are working hard to make sure there’s enough b**r to keep you all suitably refreshed! And for once, we’re leaving the cobwebs exactly where they are… they add to the decorations! 🕸️🕷️

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a lovely couple and their guests at our Hackney Taproom!
A wonderful day filled with family, friends, delicious food from HENDL ROTISSERIE, plenty of our own b**r, and some rather special sparkling w**e from the father of the bride’s very own vineyard! 🍾🍻
Huge congratulations to the happy couple! We wish you a long and happy life together. Thank you for letting us be part of it! ❤️

🍂🍺 The days are getting shorter, the temperatures are dropping, and the weather is getting generally more miserable… but fear not!
Both our taprooms are fully insulated, heated and ready to keep you warm, dry and well supplied with great b**r all winter long! 🔥🍻
And if you’re visiting us at the brewery, we’ve even got heaters outside the taproom, so you can ditch the coat, settle in with a pint and admire our shiny brew kit while staying nice and toasty!
So whatever the British weather throws at us this winter, we’ve got you covered.

🚨 WE’RE BACK IN BUSINESS, BABY! 🍻
It’s been a while. Too long, in fact. But we’re VERY happy to announce that our troublesome thyristor has FINALLY made it back from its extended holiday in Germany, all fixed up and ready to go! 🇩🇪🔧
And the best news of all? WE CAN START BREWING AGAIN! 🙌🍺
That’s right, the brewhouse is back in action and we can finally get on with doing what we love most — making seriously delicious b**r for all you lovely people!
So expect some fresh new b**rs heading your way just as soon as we’ve brewed them, fermented them and given them all the love and attention they deserve.

WHAT. A. DAY! 🍻🌾🎉
Walthamstow, you absolutely smashed it yesterday!
What a brilliant day celebrating the Blackhorse B**r Mile Harvest Festival! From fried chicken and loaded fries to bouncy castles, darts, ping pong, a petting zoo and, of course, plenty of seriously delicious b**r, it was one for the books! 🍗🍟🏓🐐🍺
A MASSIVE shoutout to our mates PECK PECK® , who never fail to bring the party, Forked Up | Loaded Fries up for keeping everyone well fed, Jonathan StandOnTheWord for keeping the good vibes rolling long into the night, and the firm crowd favourites .feathers.fur for bringing along some very special furry and feathered guests! 🐓🐇
And the biggest thank you of all goes to EVERYONE who came down, got stuck in, soaked up the atmosphere and helped us get through a frankly impressive amount of b**r. You’re what makes days like these so special! ❤️

🍻 B**R, ART & SOME SERIOUSLY COOL PRIZES! 📸
We’ve teamed up with the lovely lot at 360Fizz to celebrate the Tony Briggs Collection, featuring iconic shots of Kate Moss, Ali G, Ocean Colour Scene and plenty more legends!
And because we love a bit of creativity almost as much as we love a good pint, we thought we’d have a little competition! 🎨🍺

Is there a more pleasing sight than b**r lines being cleaned, knowing the pints coming out of them are going to be pouring just right and tasting absolutely delicious?! 🍺✨
Yeah… probably. BUT what’s even cooler is that we now have a lovely new cold room at our Walthamstow brewery! ❄️🍻
That means all our kegs and cans are kept properly chilled from the moment they come out of production, keeping the b**r in tip-top condition until it’s either poured through those lovely clean lines or heads out into the world to all the brilliant pubs, bars and bottleshops discerning enough to stock us.
Better storage. Fresher b**r. Tastier pints. What’s not to like?

Oktoberfest is officially over, and many a Maß was drunk… 🍺🇩🇪
But that doesn’t mean the end of some seriously delicious German-style b**rs!

Sadly, our brewkit is still out of action, so no brewing pics for you this week… 😢🍺
Instead, here’s a little photo dump from our trip to Hop Selection in Yakima, Washington last week 🇺🇸🌿
What an incredible experience. A week spent alongside some brilliant fellow brewers, meeting the farmers and growers behind the hops we use, getting hands-on with this year’s crop and seeing the innovation, passion and sheer scale of the hop industry out there.
There’s something pretty special about rubbing hops in the fields they were grown in, talking directly to the people who grew them, and hand-selecting the lots that’ll eventually find their way into our b**rs back in Hackney.
We came home inspired, slightly jet-lagged, and with some seriously exciting hops heading our way.
Now we just need to get the bloody brewhouse working so we can turn them into b**r… 😂🍻
