With Chinese Year of the Horse about to start, we have launched our celebration beer, Gan Bei (=cheers).
As in previous years, it's a dry Saison base with Sichuan peppercorns for a citrusy-gingery-numbing boost.
Available only from us on draught while stock lasts.

There's Good News and there's Bad News.
First the good news... Attached are our opening times for the festive period. We offer 13 district beer styles, all brewed by us on the premises. And prices start at under a fiver a pint! Plus the best ciders for miles, wines, prosecco, softs and Monster Munch!
Now the bad news. We were broken in to last night. Emergency glaziers don't come cheap but everything is back to normal now and we're open as usual today. Any help identifying the people in the CCTV clips (see comments) would greatly aid the police.
We would like to wish all of our customers, and the great people of Northfields and beyond, a Merry Christmas and a peaceful 2026.

The Owl & The Pussycat are delighted to be awarded CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2025 for the whole Greater London region!
In case you don't know, we were the first micropub to open in west London, celebrating our 9th year of service on Saturday 6 December. We brew a full range of beers on site at 106 Northfield Avenue, from trad English ales to Belgian, German, Czech and modern US styles.
Rare outside Franconia we also offer smoked lager (rauchbier) on draught, as well as sours, saison, Russian stout, hefeweiss and more (such as occasional Polish, Lithuanian and experimental brews). Plus (of course) a range of real ciders from the west country, wines and Fentiman soft drinks. Prices start at under a fiver a pint.
Open Mon-Sat 4-10, Sun 1-5.

We're Back!!!

Looks like a Sunday re-opening at this stage. Hopefully no more budget and timeframe changes.
We'll just about manage to get through this. The old building needed a bit of TLC to the hidden bits - that's before the cosmetic stuff...
