From old vines rooted in Roussillon schist. A luminous white with peach, citrus, mountain herbs and a fine, saline finish.

From the limestone soils of Vingrau. Macabeu and Roussanne with smoky citrus, white fruit, chalky texture and Mediterranean freshness.

It might begin with a quick glass before dinner, something bright and mineral to wake the evening up. Then a bottle for the table. Perhaps an old favourite, perhaps a producer you have never met before. There is no correct way through the list.

Bastille Day at La Compagnie

Some nights don’t need a reason, but we’ll take this one anyway. Courtyard lit up, corks popping a little more freely, and a w**e list leaning into everything French and full of character tomorrow.

Good company, better w**e, and a reason to linger a little longer than usual - that’s the only celebration we need.

Ps. We’ll be screening France vs Spain on the top floor…
