Eat them with the skin!
Persimmons are in season now and they are very rich in health benefits.
They are a great source of Vitamin A and C. They are also rich in fiber, useful for digestion, intestinal health and to keep cholesterol levels under control.
Thanks to their antioxidants they can help fight inflammation and protect cells from free radical damage.
The harvest period typically spans from Oct to Dec.
Do you prefer the astringent or non-astringent persimmons?

Actually this is one of my favorite products, very delicate and not always available.
So take advantage while they are available. You won't regret it π
