Well... it is safe to say our first Burgundy Wine Pairing Dinner was a roaring success!
Oversubscribed, full of life and pretty wild at times, it was a KOJI Wine Pairing Dinner to remember. With magnums of white Burgundy and aged Beaune 1er Crus flying around the room, there is no wonder why everyone was so giggly by the 6th course.
Thank you to for helping us host a cracking night and for sourcing such stunning wines and the special vintages we were after.
Stay tuned for the next KOJI Wine Pairing Dinner... which I think will be in Italy!

For those who prefer their Champagne with a little more substance...
Pol Roger has been doing things properly since 1849. Family-owned and family-run (like KOJI but not as wealthy), quietly consistent, and widely respected by those who truly know what they’re drinking.
Not one for chasing trends, Pol Roger has remained a benchmark for classic Champagne styles. Famously favoured by Winston Churchill himself, they even named a cuvée after him - Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill, robust and full of texture, the exact blend is a closely guarded family secret, but it is undeniable that the composition was drawn from the big man himself, who famously stated that "My tastes are simple, I am easily satisfied with the best".
KOJI lists both the 2012 and 2013 Sir Winston Churchill cuvées as well as Pol Roger's effortlessly smooth 2015 Blanc de Blancs. This wine screams elegance with buttery notes and hints of patisserie.
Both of these wines offer a unique expression of Pol Roger's classic style and are not to be missed by you, Champagne lovers out there.
