What a night! A massive thank you to everyone who crammed into The Ship Inn for our fundraiser quiz last Friday, and to every single person who has pledged to our Crowdfunder. You’re officially keeping the Morpeth family afloat, and we love you for it. ❤️✨
We’ve got some HUGE progress updates for you:
📜 Cellar sanitation certificate: APPROVED✅ B**r line reinstatement is officially underway.
🔨 New flooring: Being installed next week!
While Thames Water’s communication remains bone dry (unlike our cellar was) our spirits couldn't be higher. We are finally drying out, moving forward, and getting closer to having you back at the bar! 🍻
Our Crowdfunder is still open for this final stretch if you’d like to "Float a Pint" for the team while we wrap up repairs (link in bio!).

Check us out on the 6 o'clock ITV News TONIGHT. We'll be discussing how we've been left stranded with minimal communication from Thames Water 💧 contractors undertaking the reinstatement works and why we need an interim payment to start our road to reopening and to look after our team.

What a buoyant turn out!🛟 Huge thanks to everyone who popped over to say hello at the Bow Quarter Summer Festival! ☀️🍹
It was genuinely refreshing to see so many familiar faces, soak up the sun, and keep cool together with our frozen margs 🍋🟩
As you might have noticed from our trusty lifebuoy, we’ve officially launched our Crowdfunder! While we're riding out the wave until we reopen, we want to make sure our incredible team has total peace of mind and extra reassurance while things take their course to get us back up and running. Plus, it gives us a head start on prepping one massive relaunch party! 🎉

We're super disappointed to not be open for the final today! 😢 Throwback to last Saturday's vibes whilst we look forward to reopening soon!
Although now dried out we have an entire pub cellar of equipment to replace!
We're working hard to get everything in as quickly as possible so we can get back to pouring pints, bringing your favourite local pub friendliness and serving up the best pizzas with soon!!
