🍊 Aperol Spritz — a little sip of Italian history 🇮🇹✨

Born in Italy’s Veneto region, the Spritz dates back to the 1800s, when Austrian soldiers would add a “spritz” (a splash of water) to local wines to make them lighter.

Fast-forward to 1919: Aperol was created in Padua, and the iconic Aperol Spritz came to life — Aperol, Prosecco, and a splash of soda, finished with an orange slice. 🍊🥂

What started as a Venetian aperitivo became a global symbol of slow afternoons, sunshine & good company. ☀️

When in doubt, Spritz it out. 🧡

A little bite of British food history 🤎🥐
The sausage roll has been a British favourite since the 19th century, when sausages began being wrapped in pastry and baked into the golden, flaky snack we know today. What started as humble, practical food became a bakery, picnic and pub classic — loved for its crisp pastry, savoury filling and comforting simplicity.

And honestly, some traditions are worth keeping. ✨

🍸 Gin Fact of the Day 🍸
Nicholson Gin has been around since 1736—making it one of Britain’s oldest gin brands! 🇬🇧

It’s a classic London Dry, packed with bold juniper, fresh citrus, and a crisp, dry finish. Perfect in a G&T or Martini.

Fun fact: 1736 was also the year Britain tried (and failed!) to slow the country’s gin obsession with the famous Gin Act. Safe to say… gin won. 😉🥂
