Meet Angela, our new Roastery Manager ☕️✨
We’re delighted to have Angela leading our roastery. She’s spent more than 20 years at the roaster, chasing flavour, balance and consistency, while still carrying the same curiosity and care that great coffee deserves.
Now every Saint Espresso roast has her touch on it. From the Brazilian Fazenda Horizontina you drink each morning to the latest single origin available in our coffee bars and online, Angela is guiding every coffee to land just right.
Drop Angela a warm Saint welcome in the comments 👇 or swing by our Hackney Coffee Bar & Roastery to see her passion in action.

Ethiopia🇪🇹 Koke is back for its 4th year at Saint Espresso ✨
Sustainable sourcing for us means working with producers who share our values 🌱 and this release is a perfect example.
Grown in the highlands of Yirgacheffe, this coffee showcases the dedication of smallholder farmers and the unique flavour of heirloom varietals.
What’s really special is we are offering it in two processes online and across our sites-
Natural Koke – jammy, expressive, with blueberry , strawberry, and panela sweetness.
Washed Koke – delicate, floral , with bergamot, apricot, and rhubarb notes.
Taste how processing shapes flavour with our special side-by-side double pack ✨

Over ten months ago, George from 🧡 joined us at our Hackney Wick Coffee Bar & Roastery and brought his incredible energy, creativity, and cinnamon rolls to the neighbourhood. From that first tray out of the oven to queues out the door, he’s made his mark in every way.
Today marks the end of his residency and his last day with us, and we couldn’t be prouder of how he embraced the opportunity and truly made it his own.
We’ll keep supporting George and wish him nothing but the best as he continues his journey ahead, and we can’t wait to see what’s next ✨
For us, this is what it’s all about: opening our bakery doors to the next up-and-coming baker and giving them the platform, space, and support to grow. Stay tuned as we welcome the next creative talent… something new (and very delicious) is on the horizon 👀

Sometimes it’s worth pausing to think just how good the coffee in your hand really is.
Behind every cup is a long chain of people — farmers nurturing crops, exporters and importers moving beans across borders, and roasters like us carefully preparing it for you.
It’s a drink we often reach for out of habit, but it’s also a small daily ritual powered by care, connection and global effort.
Coffee really is an incredible product, capable of uplifting mornings, creating moments of calm and supporting communities all over the world 🌍
