We’re very sad to announce that this Saturday will be our final visit to Scorton Lakes. As many of you know we were kindly allowed to trade each Saturday on a trial basis, but unfortunately the licensing requirements weren’t viable for us as a new business.

We will continue to focus on the private event side of the business where we cater for sporting events, corporate events, weddings and much more! If you wish to continue to support us, we’d be extremely grateful for likes, comments and reviews on our social media pages.

And finally, we want to thank all of our loyal customers that we’ve had the pleasure to serve each week. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know everyone as you head out for walks, horse rides or simply to enjoy the views of the lakes!

Tomorrow we’ll be serving all of the favourites from our normal menu, alongside our new festive specials!

Lemon drizzle, Old School Cake, Gluten Free Carrot Cake, Vegan Chocolate Cake and our new Mars Bar Brownies.

IMPORTANT❗️

We’ll be down at the lakes again in our usual spot on Saturday morning from 9am-2pm (22nd). Unfortunately we will be unable to attend for the following two weeks due to previous bookings, we apologise to all our lovely customers for the inconvenience! We hope to be back on the 13th December.

We do have some extra goodies to offer you though! Alongside our usual menu we are also launching some festive specials:

- Mars Bar Brownie

- Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate

- Bacon, Brie and Cranberry Toastie

Another busy weekend at The Daily Grind!

On Saturday we were in our usual spot at Scorton Lakes, and today we had the pleasure of attending the U12’s premier league tournament at Catterick Garrison.

We’ve rattled our way through 48 pints of milk, 3kg of coffee beans, 1.8kg of hot chocolate powder, 192 rashers of bacon, 60 sausages, 36 eggs and countless cakes and toasties. Busy busy! Now for a well earned rest 😅

Thanks to my glamorous baristas for their hard work every weekend. Couldn’t do it without you! 🤍

Good news! We’ll be back at Scorton Lakes on Saturday! We have kindly been given permission to continue to trade until we come to a more permanent agreement, so you can expect to see us Saturday’s from 9am-2pm until we share otherwise 🤞🏽🤍

This Saturday is our last confirmed weekend at Scorton Lakes. As many of you know we are in discussions about making this a permanent Saturday arrangement but nothing is set in stone as of yet, so if you’re around we would be extremely grateful for your support!

Our fingers are crossed that we can continue to serve our lovely customers for their Saturday strolls 🤞🏽 but please keep an eye on our page for updates going forward.

Exciting news! 🤩

We have extended our trial period at Scorton Lakes North car park for an additional two Saturdays!

We’ll be set up and ready to serve from 9am-2pm on Saturday the 11th & Saturday 18th October.

We are still in talks about making this a permanent Saturday plot and I will keep you posted with our progress when I find out more.

Unfortunately we have decided to cancel our visit to Scorton Lakes tomorrow morning.

This is due to a loss of power interfering with our prep this evening, and the weather warnings forecast for tomorrow.
