I love the story of this cake.
It was David’s 70th birthday and he’d told his wife about one of his really happy childhood memories; when his dad woke him up in the middle of the night to come down and watch the fight between Mohammed Ali and George Foreman in black and white on their TV.
We recreated the moment in cake to celebrate his big birthday. Anyone else remember black and white TVs and only 4 channels? And then Channel 5 came with Hollyoaks and it was big news! I tell my kids about that and they think I’m a dinosaur

When times are hard but you still want a stunning cake, edible print is a fab option. We kind of like them too as it gives our tired little digits a break!
Cake still looks chic but doesn’t take ages to make and we pass the lower cost on to you.

What a week!
1000 cookies didn’t sound like too many when I wrote the numbers on the order form but I can confirm that was a slog 😅.
Doing every part of the process x 1000 is loooooooong. But they look fab so all good. Don’t want to see a cookie for a while.
