Hi all!!!
I have been tasked with creating an event schedule at the cafe, this will roll on a monthly basis. So once again I am coming to you lovely lot for inspiration!
What events/activities would you like to see at the cafe? It could be anything; maybe weekly activities, maybe a one off event for people in the local area? Let me know so I can make it happen!

This week is Volunteers Week, and truthfully every week should be about celebrating these amazing individuals! So I just wanted to take this opportunity to spam you all with an appreciation post for all the wonderful volunteers that help us out on a daily basis and keep the Spring Community Cafe running smoothly! You are truly the life and soul of the cafe and you amaze me everyday with your versatility, your capacity to pick yourself up and carry on no matter how difficult or stressful things get, and your ability to be the kindest and most caring people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Thankyou for all you do!!
Special mention to Shane who has been here since it all began, works the most hours, keeps the cafe running when I have emergencies or annual leave and ensures the organisation of the cafe on a weekly basis. We see you and we appreciate you!!

Hi all!
Today is the start of our summer campaign to ensure children from Southwark and Havering areas are able to enjoy the summer holidays to the MAX!!
Big Adventures for Little Londoners takes children from Southwark & Havering beyond the city for life changing experiences they’d never otherwise access. Our project boosts confidence, mental health, & curiosity, providing treasured memories & inspiring stories to share when they return to school.
Any donation is massively appreciated and will be matched by The Childhood Trust!
Thankyou for all your support!

Well we had an eventful morning in the hub! A poorly female fox came to the NHS for some medical help, and with the help of all the NHS, cafe staff and the RSPCA she got the help she needed!!
Well done everyone, faith in humanity has been restored!! 💚
