Costa Coffee

Costa Coffee Costa Coffee, a popular coffee shop located on Wimbledon Park Road, was known for its delicious drinks and mouth-watering food offerings. In February 2024, they took to social media to engage with their customers by asking them to come up with a new name for their Hot Milkshake. The chosen name would be used temporarily, creating an exciting opportunity for the public to leave their mark on Costa Coffee's menu.

They also celebrated National Apprenticeship Week by highlighting their 100 team members who were enrolled in various apprenticeship programs. The company proudly showcased the positive impact apprenticeships had on their team and encouraged others to explore the career opportunities available at Costa Coffee.

Costa Coffee never failed to impress with their innovative menu additions, such as the plant-based BOSH Chicken Fajita wrap that aimed to cater to diverse dietary preferences and inject some spice into customers' taste buds.

However, despite their active presence on social media and continuous efforts to provide exceptional products and experiences, Costa Coffee has permanently closed its doors.

Seeing students like Milo thrive is what it’s all about 👏 This year, the Costa Foundation (our global charity partner) has partnered with Five Acre Wood School on their ‘Made FAW You’ project, funding the transformation of an existing teaching kitchen into a commercial-standard training space.

Now, pupils can gain hands-on experience cooking, producing and selling food in a supportive environment. This will help students build confidence, develop new skills and discover what a future in hospitality could look like. We love to see it!

Through hands-on work growing and caring for plants, students develop practical enterprise skills, confidence and independence. The project creates opportunities for learning outside of the classroom, helping young people prepare for life beyond education ❤️

On top of serving delicious coffee, we also believe that education is the first step towards a better life.

This year, the Costa Foundation is extending its work to the UK for the first time to support children and young people who may face barriers to opportunities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

Our work with the students and teachers at Treloar's School & College in Hampshire and Five Acre Wood School in Kent has been fundamental in helping to make a meaningful difference here at home, ensuring more young people have access to the support, skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
