R.I.P MALCOLM DOME
I am utterly devastated and heartbroken by the news of Malcolmβs death. How do you come to terms with the loss of such a beautiful, sincere and generous soul?
I speak on behalf of everybody who ever worked at The Crobar when I say he was by far our most loved and respected customer, and his death will leave us all poorer for his passing, but greatly enriched by knowing him.
Much will be said about Malcolmβs contribution to the Rock & Metal scene, but for those of us who knew him personally, the loss goes far deeper than that.
Malcolm emailed me every week from the start of the first lockdown to see how I was doing, and that meant the world to me and helped me keep my head above water when I felt I was drowning.
I will miss you terribly Malcolm. Thank you for all your kindness and support and all the joy you bought to my life. I shall see you anon in the great gig in the sky.
I shall have to leave it there, as I canβt see the screen through my tears.

What people say
The Crobar, located on Manette Street in London, is a legendary dive bar that has become a staple for rock and roll enthusiasts. Although they are currently not trading at their previous address due to the impact of Covid-19, they are determined to make a comeback in a new home. The Crobar is more than just a bar; it's a community of like-minded individuals who share a love for beer, whiskey, and rock music.
While we eagerly await their return, The Crobar is actively crowdfunding to not only reopen their beloved bar but also establish a live music venue. Their dedication to preserving the spirit of Soho and supporting the local music scene is truly commendable.
Once you step foot into The Crobar, you'll immediately feel the vibrant energy that permeates the air. It's no wonder why this establishment has earned its reputation as London's best Rock n' Roll bar. From the moment you walk through the door, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who are passionate about both the music and creating an unforgettable experience for their patrons.
The atmosphere at The Crobar is electric, with walls adorned with memorabilia from iconic rock bands and musicians. Whether you're a fan of classic rock or prefer something heavier, you'll find yourself surrounded by fellow enthusiasts who share your passion. The Crobar truly embodies the essence of rock culture.
When it comes to libations, The Crobar does not disappoint. With an extensive selection of beers and whiskeys, there's something for every palate. Sip on your favorite drink while enjoying the company of friends or engaging in lively conversations with fellow rock aficionados.
Although we may have to wait for The Crobar to find its new home before we can once again revel in its unique ambiance and fantastic drinks selection, one thing is certain: this iconic dive bar will continue to be an integral part of London's rock scene. So let's join together and support their crowdfunding efforts to ensure that The Crobar not only survives but thrives in the future.
For more information on how you can contribute to their crowdfunding campaign, visit their website at https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/crobar. Let's show our love for The Crobar and help them bring back the rock n' roll spirit that we all miss dearly.
