Today we are commemorating VE Day 80. Through our roots with the WI, Country Markets have a proud heritage of supporting the war effort. Today we celebrate and reflect on the generation that came before us to give us all we have today.

There are many stories from residents of that were here 80 years ago and it’s important we continue to listen and learn from them.

Delighted to tell you that there WILL be ‘Christmas at ’ as we’ve rescheduled to this Sunday December 15th. And the good news is that the forecast is currently for wintery sunshine, hoorah! ☀️
Many of our traders are able to attend and wreath making will be in the Black Barn as planned.
After such a disappointing day yesterday for all, we can’t wait to welcome you for the last market until April 2025. Come and stock up for Christmas and beyond on fantastic food and drink, enjoy a lovely warming cup of mulled wine from and fill your boots with delicious street-food.
There’s new piglet arrivals on the farm that will melt your heart too ! 🐖 💕

To get to the location, take the train or bus to London and head towards the city centre. From there, exit onto the main road and continue driving or walking straight ahead until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit and continue straight for about half a mile until you reach another roundabout. Take the second exit and drive or walk for another half mile until you see a sign for a car park on your left. Turn left into the car park and park your vehicle there. The location is just across the street from the car park on your right-hand side.
