On July 4th 1998 our founder and chef, Abu Mahmoud, along with his brother Maher and partner Mohammad Chehab opened ishbilia Lebanese Restaurant. Through hard graft, passion, and an unwavering commitment to provide our customers the best possible lebanese culinary experience, they created an institution. 26 years later with the addition of some new family members, growth, expansion and a fantastic new renovation, Ishbilia is still london’s premier lebanese food destination and remains a proud family run restaurant rooted in tradition. We are humbly grateful and can’t wait to welcome and serve you for many more years to come.

We’re finally opening our doors this Monday 23rd March at 4pm. It’s been an intense and amazing couple of months. We’ve put everything into this project and we cannot wait to welcome you and show what we’ve created. We are so excited to be back doing what we love best and that is serving and caring for you! Our new private dining spaces are very close to completion. 2 separate spaces that will sit 23 in each room or joint to host 45 guests. Inspired by the lush mountain backdrop of Beirut and the moorish vibrant culture of Andalusia. We can’t wait to welcome you to these unique and spectacular spaces. 🇱🇧

Ishbilia is currently closed until 20th February. We are so excited and working hard along with the wonderful glenmore refurbishment team and team to bring you a wonderful new chapter to our family business. Our catering services are still available during closure so get in touch!

To reach William Street in London by public transport, take the Jubilee, Bakerloo or Victoria lines to Oxford Circus station. From there, walk south towards Regent Street and turn right onto Hanover Street. Follow Hanover Street until it intersects with St George Street and then turn left. Continue down St George Street until you reach William Street.
For those driving, take the A4201 towards Oxford Circus and continue straight onto Great Portland Street. Turn left onto Clipstone Street and continue straight until you reach Foley Street. Turn right onto Foley street and at the end of the road, turn left onto Great Titchfield street. Follow this road until it meets Regent street where you take a left turn. Then follow the directions above to get to William street.
There is no on-street parking on William Street but there are several car parks nearby such as NCP at Cavendish Square, Q-Park at Oxford Street or Masterpark at Poland street which offer paid parking facilities in London.
