Gallows Corner update ⚠️
We are reopening some sections of the road network to general traffic from the morning of Sunday 10 May.
The following sections will be open:
- Eastbound flyover open from A12 Eastern Avenue to A127 Southend Arterial Road.
- Roundabout to A12 Colchester Road (eastbound only)
- Straight Road (both directions) and roundabout
- Main Road (both directions) and roundabout

🚧 Important Notice – Gallows Corner Closure 🚧
From Sunday 23 June , Gallows Corner roundabout and flyover will be fully closed for major refurbishment works until September 2025 . This is part of TfL’s plan to improve safety and extend the life of the flyover – but it also means serious traffic disruption in the area.
Unfortunately, due to these works and heavy congestion on diversion routes, we won’t be able to deliver to the following postcodes during this period:

📍 RM2
📍 RM5
📍 RM11
We’re really sorry for the inconvenience and will let you know as soon as we’re able to resume service to those areas.

Good evening, everyone 🌆. We just wanted to pop on here to apologise for the long waits ⏳ some of you experienced on Friday. We believe a nearby Chinese restaurant recently closed 🏮, and, with it being payday 💸, we ended up being really swamped 😅. Plus, with the holiday season approaching 🎄, we expect things to get even busier over the coming weeks 📆.
To help with this, we’re making a few changes 🛠️. We’ll be bringing in an extra team member on weekends 👥 and offering complimentary snacks 🍪 for those waiting outside.
