Hi all, Kate here. I just wanted to post to say how thankful we are for all of your continued support. My husband, Reinaldo, and I went to a friend’s birthday yesterday and to our complete surprise, they had organised a fundraising for us. We have no words to say how touched we are by everyone’s kindness. It is such a difficult time where we still don’t know what tomorrow brings but your support is truly keeping us going. A huge thank you to Ross Elderfield for organising the fundraiser ❤️

We are launching a fundraiser. After a devastating fire, our beloved Buenos Aires Café in Blackheath is facing an uncertain road to recovery. We’ve poured our hearts into this place since 2005, and seeing it damaged has been heartbreaking.

We are truly overwhelmed by the love, kindness, and support our community has shown us during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️
Reading your messages, cards, and words of encouragement has meant more to us than we can ever put into words. Seeing how many people care about our little restaurant reminds us why we do what we do every single day.

We’re heartbroken to share that due to unforeseen events and circumstances we are unfortunately unable to open today and for the foreseeable future.
Right now our focus is on dealing with the situation and assess the damage and next steps.
