What people say
Fast food restaurants are known for their convenience and quick service, but Gourmet Goat takes it to the next level by offering sustainable and unique Mediterranean dishes. Located in the bustling Borough Market in London, Gourmet Goat is a fast food restaurant that serves up delicious Cypriot village food using local, artisanal, and seasonal ingredients.
What sets Gourmet Goat apart from other fast food restaurants is their commitment to sustainability. They use kid goat, a byproduct of the dairy industry, as well as British rose veal and halloumi to create their dishes. They also make all of their own sauces in-house, adding an extra layer of flavor to each dish.
One standout item on the menu is their handmade wraps filled with tender and flavorful meat or halloumi cheese. The salads, beans, and pulses that form the base of each dish are fresh and bursting with flavor. And if you're lucky enough to visit during one of their seasonal specials, you won't be disappointed.
Gourmet Goat's success can be attributed to its owners Nadia and Nick Stokes' passion for sustainable cooking. Their dedication has earned them multiple awards and recognition within the industry. And now with the launch of Elpiniki, their new premise at Borough Market serving breakfast, coffee, and full lunch menus - they continue to delight customers with their unique take on Mediterranean cuisine.
Overall, Gourmet Goat is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious fast food that's also sustainable and ethical.
