First solo exhibition by Tracy Vaughan
My name is Tracy Vaughan, for the last 15 months I've been recovering from addiction, in this time I've had feelings and emotions coming upon a daily, I found I could express these through drawing and painting, I did this everyday for 12 months.
My art work is inspired from other peoples art, I used different colours like acrylic, watercolour and pen.
I hope people enjoy viewing these pieces, I never dreamed I would have the confidence or be in a position where I could display my art work.
Should anyone wish to purchase one, I will be donating the money to the charity I work for. Hospices of Hope.
Thank you.
Exhibition continues until 30th November

"I use a palette ranging from pastel to florescent so that there is a shift in how the paintings look in relation to the light that passes over them, even in low light there is something to catch the eye." - Kim Flame

Here are photos of some of our creativity from Forest Hill Methodist Church and Centre (FHMCC). The congregation and wider community worked together on our Poppy Project, Chrismon Project (meaningful Christmas decorations), and Angel Project. I've used the poppies and Chrismons for designs on the fence and windows over the years. Some of the designs are shown here, including:
-Harvest: Christian Aid's theme: 'Chirp for joy'
- Advent: Theme: Hope, Peace, Joy and Love
- Remembrance Day
- Trinity Sunday
- An angel on an upper window
We have another exhibition booked for late 2024; watch this space!
Exhibition ended on the 5th of August 2023

with Photos of the exhibition: Imagination by Debra Gosling
Debra Gosling attended The Rooney Trotter School of Art, where she passed her GCE with flying colours.
She takes inspiration from nature, folklore and history and then mixes it all up in her quite bonkers imagination to produce what you see here today.
The pictures are created with inks, watercolour pencils, acrylics and a little fairy dust. They are originals not prints.
