Pizza Express, an iconic pizza place that opened its doors in 1965 and was located at Alban Gate, was a favourite among locals and visitors alike. Amongst their mouth-watering offerings was The King Pizza, which consisted of a combination of pepperoni, n'duja and pancetta atop a tomato and mozzarella base. In April 2023, they renovated their Cardiff branch. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been permanently closed now.
