After Saturday’s 3–2 comeback at Fulham finally got the Eagles off the mark, it’s Middlesbrough under the lights on Tuesday and a place in the next round of the League Cup up for grabs.
If you’re heading to Selhurst, you know where the pre-match pint is. If you’re not, we’ll have the game on here, alongside Villa in Bruges and Real Madrid v Inter.
Then it’s Napoli v Arsenal and Chelsea v Leeds on Wednesday, followed by Man United v Sabah on Thursday.

Liverpool’s new-look squad head to Ipswich on Friday night, Newcastle take on Bournemouth on Saturday and Villa’s latest batch of new arrivals could get their chance against Hull.
Then Sunday gets interesting.
Jack Grealish is back at Everton and could make his second debut against Man United, before Arsenal v Chelsea closes the weekend. Chelsea have just sold Enzo Fernández to City for £125m and failed to get his replacement through the door before the deadline.
Nothing like a quiet week in the Premier League.

Man City are coming to SE25 for Pierre Sage’s first Premier League home game in charge, and we’re getting the weekend started properly at The Portland.
If you’ve got a ticket, you know where to come for the pre-match pint. If you haven’t, we’ll have the game on here.
Then stick around for the rest of the weekend: Liverpool v Forest and Spurs v Newcastle on Saturday, followed by Chelsea v Brighton, Leeds v Brentford and Man United v Ipswich on Sunday.

Forest get a very quick shot at revenge against Leeds tonight, but Wednesday’s the one that’s caught our eye.
Spurs: beaten 3–0 by Brentford on Saturday.
Charlton: three wins from three and just turned over West Ham.
Surely nothing could possibly go wrong for Spurs here.
Chelsea v Luton then takes us through to Thursday and completes three straight nights of Carabao Cup football at The Portland.

Right then. Proper football’s back.
Arsenal start their title defence tonight, Hull’s reward for promotion is Man United turning up on Saturday, and Spurs make the short trip to Brentford later that afternoon.
Sunday brings Brighton v Villa before Newcastle and Liverpool take over, then there’s one last bit of business on Monday: Fulham v Chelsea, a West London derby and Xabi Alonso’s first Premier League game in charge of the Blues.
Six games. Four days. Lovely stuff.
