Quiz Night - Thursday 29th October 🧠

Our popular quiz night is back on Thursday! We love seeing our regular teams but it would be lovely to welcome a few new faces too. Get your friends together or come on your own, put your thinking caps on and join us for a fun evening!

Half-term fun - Calling all little pumpkin artists! 🎃

Our Halloween pumpkin competition is still open! Carve or decorate a pumpkin and bring it in before 30th October. We’ll display them all, with the winner announced on 31st October. The prize is 2 cinema tickets plus sweet treats! 🍿🍬

Christmas Market – Wednesday 18th November 🎄

Our stall tables are now all filled! Thank you to everyone who’s booked! 🙌 so now pop the date in your diary and come along for some lovely festive shopping, meet local makers and small businesses and get a head start on those Christmas gifts.

Christmas Wreath Workshops - Sunday 29th November & Wednesday 2nd December 🍷🥧

Fancy getting creative for Christmas? Join our talented florists to make your very own festive wreath, with Christmas tunes, mince pies and a glass of bubbles or mulled w**e to get you in the spirit.

One of our favourite festive traditions is back! 🎄

Join our talented florists for one of our ever-popular Christmas Wreath Making Workshops and create your own beautiful wreath to welcome Christmas to your front door!

We’ll guide you through each step so no experience is needed, just come along ready to have some fun!

Enjoy Christmas tunes, mince pies, a glass of bubbles or mulled w**e and a couple of lovely hours getting into the festive spirit 🎶🍷

Bring a friend, make it a family outing or come along for some creative time to yourself. We’ll provide all the supplies you need to make a wonderful wreath! 🎄

• Sunday 29 November | 1.30–3.30pm
• Wednesday 2 December | 6–8pm

£75 per person
£25 non-refundable deposit required on booking

Calling all little pumpkin artists! 🎃

Fancy getting creative this half term? Carve or decorate your pumpkin at home and bring your finished masterpiece along to Branching Out before 30th October so we can display all the entries in the shop. We’ll choose a winner on 31st October! 👻

Please make sure your pumpkin is clearly labelled with your name and contact details.

📢 WE’RE HIRING! ☕

Do you love coffee, enjoy chatting with customers and know your way around a coffee machine? We’d love to hear from you!

Branching Out is looking for an experienced barista to join our friendly team on a part-time basis.

Previous experience in a busy coffee shop is essential and a passion for latte art would be a lovely bonus! ☺️

Shifts to be agreed but will include weekends.

Our Christmas Market is back on Wednesday 18th November from 6pm and we’re already getting enquiries!

We’re now taking bookings for local businesses and makers to showcase their lovely goodies. Tables are £25, with all proceeds going to St Christopher’s Hospice.

If you just want to come along, pop the date in your diary and join us for an evening of festive shopping, a glass (or 2) of mulled w**e and a lovely evening supporting local businesses and a very good cause.

Our Christmas Market is always a popular one so if you’d like a stall, don’t leave it too late. Tables are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meet the Team…

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our lovely Sue! 👋

Sue joined Branching Out back in 2016 and has been a florist for nearly 25 years! 💐

She loves creating beautiful, large floral arrangements and is also pretty handy when it comes to mastering our coffee art! ☕️

We’ve also unofficially made her our Head of Tech 🤓because if something needs fixing, connecting, updating or figuring out, Sue is usually the one we turn to! 😂🙌

Basically, she’s the florist, coffee artist and tech department in one! 🥰…and we’re very lucky to have you, Sue! ☺️
