Meet Simon our incredible General Manager, he has some important & exciting news for you all. Some of you may recognise this friendly chap from your stay with us.
“Hello everyone I can proudly say I am the general manager of the stunning Burgoyne hotel in Reeth. My duties involve ensuring the smooth day to day running of all the departments within the hotel and making sure that our guests receive a friendly and comfortable stay as well as enjoying our fine dining restaurant and our breathtaking views over Swaledale.
The hotel is currently undergoing a full refurbishment to improve the guest experience as well as providing a more luxurious and opulent setting to ensure a memorable stay.
We will be opening our doors again on the 4th March 2024, myself and the team cannot wait to welcome guests new and old to the fabulous ‘new’ Burgoyne.”
The renovations are going to be truly spectacular, that’s why you should book now before everyone else does to secure your spot and be the first to come witness the magic.

- Alternatively, take a coach or bus service directly to Richmond Bus Station and then transfer to a local bus service to Reeth. Get off at the Market Place and walk south for about 5 minutes.
Options for Driving/Parking:
- From Richmond, follow the B6270 road towards Reeth. The hotel is located on the left-hand side of the road as you approach the village center.
- There is limited parking available outside the hotel, but additional parking can be found in a nearby public car park just a short walk away from the hotel.
