More Than Just a Sandwich Bar ❤️
It's not always hunger that brings us through the door,Or just a sandwich we're looking for.
Sometimes it's a smile, a chat, a friendly face,
A little warmth in a familiar place.
A cup of tea, a seat to rest,
A little chat can mean the best.
A laugh, a joke, a word or two,
A simple kindness shining through.
For some who come, it's not the food,
It's company that lifts their mood.
A place to sit, to feel they belong,
Where nobody minds if they stay too long.
Behind the counter, there's more than bread,
There's kindness in the words that's said.
A listening ear, a welcome smile,
Can make someone's day worthwhile.
So when you see someone sitting there,
Don't judge them for the time they share.
For a sandwich bar can be much more,
Than sandwiches served across the counter.
Sometimes the greatest thing on the menu is a little friendship, a warm welcome, and a friendly face.
