Dear Dulwich Forum neighbours,

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that our restaurant, **Love Dulwich, at 89 Lordship Lane, SE22 8EP, was broken into last night.**

We put our hearts, hard work, time and money into building our little business here in Dulwich. Like many independent businesses, we work incredibly hard every day to serve our customers, support our staff and be part of this wonderful local community.

To walk in and discover that someone has broken into our premises is a horrible feeling. It is not just about the damage, the mess or the financial loss. It is the feeling of having your space violated, the stress of dealing with the aftermath, and the sadness of knowing that someone could do this to a small local business that is simply trying to make an honest living.

Behind every independent restaurant are real people, families, and livelihoods. We work long hours, make sacrifices and do our best to give our customers a place where they can enjoy good food and feel welcome. Experiences like this are incredibly upsetting, especially when you have put so much of yourself into your business.

We are sharing this with the Dulwich community not to create fear, but to raise awareness and hopefully prevent another local business or resident from going through the same thing.
