“I remember when I wanted to make a career in cricket, I also remember when I wanted to make a career in music, tourism, psychology and what not. Never has my mum ever disagreed or discouraged me in any matter. Back home in India we live in a joint family and when it comes about protecting me my mother has always been an expert in it. I don’t know what drives her and I guess I never will. The spirit of not giving up is what I’ve learned from her and I’ll always keep learning from her. Today on the occasion of Mother’s Day I want to dedicate this day of work to my mum. Everything I did today was for her and everything I ever will be I owe it to her.
