There’s a quiet hierarchy in every kitchen.
Fillet, Ribeye, Tomahawk, the cuts everyone orders. But ask a chef what they actually cook at home, and the answer changes.
It moves to the shoulder, the flank, the rump. The cuts that ask a little more of you, and reward it generously.
🔪 Wagyu Denver Steak: cut from the underblade, marbling that rivals Ribeye in a smaller format
🔪 Wagyu Teres Major: the Petite Tender, second only to Fillet for tenderness
🔪 Ibérico Pork Pluma: thin, well-marbled, closer to a steak than a shoulder cut
🔪 Bavette: a French bistro staple, seared hard, sliced thin against the grain
🔪 Ibérico Pork Secreto: hidden between the Ibérico shoulder and belly, treasured in Spain for generations
🔪 Picanha: the Brazilian rump cut, built for the open flame
Every one of them sourced to the same standard as our Fillet and Tomahawk. Three decades of relationships with the producers who raise it.
Some of the best eating in the range isn’t the cut everyone already knows.
Full guide on how to cook each one, and why, is now on the blog.

📣 Meet the Maker: Las Hermanas
Nestled in Cuacos de Yuste, in the smoke-scented hills of La Vera, Extremadura, Las Hermanas has been perfecting Pimentón de la Vera since 1940. Now led by sisters Alicia and Maria, granddaughters of founder Salvador López, this family business smokes its hand-harvested peppers slowly over oak and holm fires. This preserves both the natural character of the pepper and the depth of the smoke, capturing the authentic flavour that’s earned it Protected Designation of Origin status. As a family-owned business ourselves, these are all values we proudly share at Meat Me At Home.
We’ve carefully selected three Las Hermanas essentials for your kitchen:
🌶️ Hot Smoked Paprika: bold, smoky heat
🌶️ Sweet Smoked Paprika: rich, rounded and mellow
🌶️ Sweet Smoked Pepper Flakes: rustic texture, gentle smoky warmth
Perfect for seasoning grilled meats, adding complexity to marinades and rubs, or simply elevating everyday dishes with authentic flavour.
Exceptional ingredients, from family to family 💚

Something we’ve been quietly working on. Now ready.
Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef Dripping. Slow-rendered from A5 Wagyu trimmings, strained through fine muslin, sealed hot. No additives. No shortcuts.
Wagyu fat is unlike any other cooking fat. Higher in oleic acid than duck fat or beef tallow, it cooks clean, holds heat beautifully, and leaves that unmistakable quiet depth of flavour on everything it touches.
Use it to sear your Wagyu steak in the fat it came from. Make the roast potatoes of your life. Elevate chips, Yorkshire puddings, roasted veg.
This is what professional kitchens have always known. Now it’s yours.

📣 Meet the Maker: Kalios
Eight generations, a village in the Kalamata region of southern Greece and a decision, in 2010, to take the family olive groves and share them with the world.
That is how Kalios began, two founders on motorbikes driving through Paris, stopping at restaurants, asking the greatest chefs to taste their oil.
Today, Kalios is the olive oil of choice for over 1,000 chefs, including Pierre Gagnaire and Nicolas Sale. Hand-harvested from November to January in the village of Neochori-Ithomi, every drop is made from the ancient Koroneiki olive, picked at precisely the right moment to capture the flavour that eight generations have perfected.
Like Meat Me At Home, Kalios is built on family values, uncompromising quality and a deep respect for tradition and craftsmanship.

It’s Great British Beef Week 🇬🇧 and today we’re sharing the story of a brand that sits at the very heart of what we do.
For over 30 years, our family business has been built on two things: deep-rooted relationships with the finest producers and the unmatched skill of our in-house butcher team. 🔪
After decades of importing the world’s most exquisite Wagyu from across the globe, we asked ourselves: Why not create that same world-class quality right here in the UK?
In 2019, Freedown Hills was born. 🌳
Reared in the heart of Yorkshire, Freedown Hills is Britain’s unrivalled F1 Wagyu. We’ve blended the robust, deep flavour of European beef with the legendary, buttery tenderness of Japanese Wagyu.
The secret? A unique diet enhanced with olives, resulting in an extraordinary silky texture and world-class marbling that is proudly British. 🥩✨
From our family to your table, this is the pinnacle of British beef.
