Coffee is known as 'bun' (ቡን) in our native language Tigrinya in Eritrea. It is a part of daily life in the Eritrean culture and is celebrated through traditional coffee ceremonies.

All of our coffees are made with premium grade beans, which are hand-roasted to a medium roast level for optimum flavour and then freshly ground in-store.

We serve a variety of breakfast and brunch options, which can now be served as takeaway. One of these is Ful Medames, which is a traditional Eritrean dish enjoyed by many.

It is served warm with toasted pitta bread and optional toppings including red onions, tomatoes, feta cheese and green chilli for those who like some heat!

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Season's Greetings to all!

Asmarino Cafe is a family-run cafe based in Finsbury Park, North London. We opened our doors in September 2017 and have enjoyed welcoming so many of you through our doors over the last three years.

Although this year has been like no other, our hearts have been warmed by the support we have received and we hope to meet many more of the community and beyond in the months and years to come.

We will be bringing you more snaps of some of our homemade foods and drinks through our Instagram page () and page so keep posted. Thank you for your support!
