Nobody does Halloween quite like Leyton! 👻
And this year, we’re kicking things off with a Halloween disco on Francis Road before the trick or treating begins!

Don’t feel like cooking tonight, come and grab an easy dinner. I have made fresh slow roasted tomato, confit garlic and basil pasta sauce and a version with pancetta for the non vegans!

Creating the menu for our supper club always brings me great pleasure, as I look at what is available and try to decide on delicious dishes I know I would want to eat.
We’re in that strange in between time as summer’s tailing off with its last sweet, juicy peaches, while autumn’s easing in with the beautiful Delica squash coming back around.
It is this time of year that I find it hard to decide which way to go, so I may just have to mix them all together.
Our next supper club is this Friday, 25th September, and we only have seats left at the chef’s table if you want to book.

We’re taking over Francis Road with chalk! 🎨
This Saturday, we’re kicking off Leyton Arts Festival with a big community Chalk the Walk.
We want everyone who lives, works, goes to school or simply loves our neighbourhood to come down and help us cover Francis Road in drawings celebrating our community.
Draw your favourite local place, your family, your shop, your street, something you love about Leyton, or just come and get creative.
Kids and adults are all welcome, and you definitely don’t need to be an artist!

Marmelo Supper Club is back!
After taking a little break for the summer, we’re back on Friday 28th August for our monthly Supper Club.
We’ve got a delicious late-summer menu planned, including this beautiful Middle White pork chop!

To get to Francis Road in London, you can take the Overground to Leytonstone High Road Station and then walk for about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can take bus routes 257 or W14 and get off at the Francis Road bus stop.
If you are driving, there is limited street parking available on Francis Road and nearby streets. It is recommended to check for parking restrictions before leaving your car.
Once on Francis Road, look for the restaurant with a green awning that serves Mediterranean cuisine.
