The Rusty Bike Café, located in Fassnidge Park just outside Uxbridge, is a not-for-profit bike-themed café that welcomes all visitors with ample space to sit down and refresh after miles in the saddle or on foot. With secure bike parking available, the café is perfect for both solo riders and larger cycling groups.

WE’RE HIRING: CAFÉ MANAGER
(FULL TIME & WEEKEND WORK ESSENTIAL)

We’re looking for an experienced, values-driven Café Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our café and play a key role in supporting volunteers with mental health challenges and additional needs. This is more than a hospitality role. It’s about leadership, empathy, and creating a space where people feel valued, capable, and supported.

The role:
• Oversee daily café operations
• Lead, train, and support a diverse team of volunteers and staff
• Maintain high standards of service, food, and cleanliness
• Manage rotas, stock, and opening/closing procedures
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment

About you:
• Proven experience managing a café or hospitality venue preferred
• Calm, confident, and compassionate leadership style
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Passionate about community, inclusion, and making a real impact
