A rose matcha for whatever the English summer brings. 🌹
Floral English Rose syrup meets creamy Coconut Matcha for the perfect sunny day sip.
For the English Rose syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2-4 tbsp Whittard English Rose Loose Leaf Tea
For the drink:
2 tsp Whittard Coconut Matcha
Milk of your choice
Ice
Method: Add the water and sugar to a saucepan over a medium heat, stirring until the sugar has fully dissolved.
Add the English Rose Loose Leaf Tea and allow to steep for 5-10 minutes.
Strain the tea leaves and leave the syrup to cool completely.
Sift the Coconut Matcha into a bowl, add a splash of hot water and whisk until smooth and frothy.
Fill your favourite glass with ice.
Add 1 tbsp of the English Rose syrup, then pour in your milk of choice.
Top with the whisked matcha.
Stir, sip and enjoy. ✨

What a week it’s been. 💐 From welcoming wonderful guests to celebrating a Gold award at Chelsea Flower Show, every moment in our Container Garden has been a reminder of the passion, creativity and craftsmanship that continue to shape Whittard of Chelsea 140 years on.
This achievement feels especially meaningful as we celebrate our anniversary year, not only as a reflection of where we are today, but of the journey that brought us here. A legacy built on curiosity, innovation, and transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Inspired by our heritage and brought to life through incredible collaboration, this garden tells a story of the spirit that has carried Whittard through generations.

To celebrate the season, we invited Chelsea florist Charlie Hayward of to interpret three of our loose leaf teas through the language of flowers. The bouquet became a reflection of expressive flavour layers and was alive with detail.
Inspired by the artistry of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where nature and craftsmanship exist in perfect harmony. Because the story of great tea begins long before the first pour.

The nearest underground station is Oxford Circus Station, which serves the Central, Victoria and Bakerloo lines. Another option is the Piccadilly Circus Station serving the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines. You may also take a bus to get there by hopping onto any of these routes: 3, 6, 12, 13, 15, 23, 88, 94, 139 and 159 which all stop at or near Regent Street.
