Our very first Time To Pause is about to start 🤩 The amazing Annmarie is starting a Monthly event called
‘Time to Pause’ @ The Alma Pub Sidcup
The idea is for women going through or have been through Peri-menopause/Menopause to get together and share their experiences/advice ,Just have a chat and a laugh or need to get out the house.
Dont worry its not sit down pour your heart out situation, but there will be a corner for that too❤️
We’ve got an amazing group of people coming that do all the things that we need but are not just there for the promotion (although, hopefully you’ll like them and possibly use them going forward)
But ultimately they are coming because they understand what we are going through.
Starting Wednesday 3rd June, 7-9pm The Alma pub. £8 per person.

Come in out of the rain for some Wednesday lunchtime fun 🤩🎤 Screaming With Laughter Launches in Sidcup – Comedy for Grown-Ups, Babies Come Too!
London’s original daytime comedy club for parents and carers with babies is coming to The Alma on Wednesday 3rd June, bringing top stand-up comedy and much-needed grown-up laughter to Sidcup families.
Hosted by comedian and broadcaster Hatty Ashdown, Screaming With Laughter is designed for parents who still love a comedy night out — but currently spend more evenings watching CBeebies than going to comedy clubs. The difference? This comedy club happens in the daytime, and babies are welcome too.
The launch show features headliner Fiona Ridgewell alongside Sam Wyatt. Audiences can expect a real comedy club atmosphere with professional comedians seen on TV and the UK comedy circuit, but with baby-friendly extras to help parents feel relaxed and included.
There will be space for prams, soft mats for little wrigglers and baby changing facilities available. Parents are free to feed, cuddle, rock, bounce, change or walk around with their baby during the show — whether that’s a bottle or whipping out a b**b, nobody will mind. Babies having a grizzle is completely understood, and crying adults after a difficult night’s sleep are also welcome.
The event is aimed at parents, grandparents, carers, expectant parents and anyone looking for a daytime social outing with a baby in tow. Organisers hope the Sidcup launch will become a regular fixture for local families looking to meet others, enjoy some adult conversation and laugh about the chaos of modern parenting.
Hatty Ashdown said: “Rhyme time is lovely, but parents need spaces to laugh and feel like themselves too. We want people to come along, have a coffee or lunch, meet other grown-ups and enjoy brilliant live comedy without worrying if their baby makes noise.”
The event takes place at The Alma on Wednesday 3rd June. Doors open at 11am and the show starts at 11.30am. Ticket options include standard entry and entry with lunch included. Tickets are available via Eventbrite or directly from the venue.

Monday night was all about Mat’s Fun pub quiz Easter special🤩 the next quiz will be on Monday the 20th with JP 🤩 please do message us on 07923 009864 so that we can book you a table so you can all get to take part 🤩
The naff prizes were given away……as they say, another man’s tutt is another man’s treasure 🤣🤩
Play your cards right was £70 was won on the 2nd time, which was amazing 🤩
The winners were:
7th place, one c**k and 4 hens and won the wooden spoon and also the full house in bingo🤩
6th place, Easter, I like my eggs unfertilised, they also won the 1st line on bingo and Play your cards right 🤩
5th place, Love eggs and won the 2 lines on bingo, it was a very fraught moment….more so when they nearly won the full house by one number 🤣🤩
4th place, Lick my chocolate phallus and also won the share of the best team name 🤣🤩
3rd place, The rampant rabbits and they won some Easter mini eggs 🤩🤩
2nd place, The Duracell bunnies and they won a photo frame from Peñiscola 🤩🤩
1st place went to Floosy shaved off her Easter hunt and they won the £50 cash prize and the second game of heads of tails and joint best team name, well done 🤩🤩
