There's something about being outside near the river that make lunches stretch a little longer, another bottle appear and allow conversations to flow that little bit more.

Hidden just above the Thames, our private dining terrace was made for those kinds of occasions. The birthday celebrations that turn into all day affairs. The intimate dinners that deserve more than just a table. The gatherings that feel like an escape from the city as the sun sets over the water.

Part inside, part open-air, this is a space which brings the brasserie outdoors. A little hidden corner of Brasserie Constance, all to yourself.

Not your usual ice cream.

Blood orange marmalade ice cream, a drizzle of olive oil and a touch of sea salt. A balance of sweet, bitter and savoury in every spoonful.

Unexpected, and all the better for it.

And when the British weather allows, you can take your seat outside and dine al fresco on our terrace.

All that's left is to do is sit back and take it in.

Three wines we've been drinking this March.

MiruMiru Brut. A hidden gem from Hunter's estate in Marlborough. Blending 3 classic champagne grapes, time on the lees before disgorgement creates balance between delicate fruit flavours, precision and elegance. A luxury bottle at great value.

A Riesling from . Grown in the Alsation village of Rorschwirh, it's intensely aromatic on the nose, and on the palate the fruit is concentrated, clear and bright with delicate floral notes.

And finally, a crowd pleaser of a Nebbiolo from . Bright red fruits jump out of the glass and with its balanced spicy edge, this wine is super aromatic. A perfect spring time red.

With perfect proportions of goodness, we'd choose this dish for lunch any day of the week. Especially alongside a chilled glass of rose - ideally in the sun on our terrace.

The river. The rivalry. The roar of the crowd.

The Oxford vs. Cambridge Boat Race is one of those moments where our little stretch of the Thames truly comes alive. And this year, there's no better place to watch it than right here by the water.

Join us at Brasserie Constance & Flo Bar for a front-row view of the action; where the atmosphere is vibrant, the cocktails are flowing and the food is just as memorable as the race itself.

Tables and tickets are going qu**ky, so be sure to book now to experience it all from the best seat by the river.
