Come join us at ORTUS for a Pop-Up Art Fair on Nov 29 from 11am to 4:00pm, curated by Bethlem Gallery.
We’ll have paintings, ceramics, textiles, festive cards and decorations and calendars from over 100 artists on sale at affordable prices.
At 1pm painter George Harding will give a free talk about the inspiration behind his current exhibition and discuss the link between creativity and mental health recovery.

As the cold weather continues, Ortus remains warm and welcoming and open to everyone - no questions asked. We offer free WiFi, charging points, accessible toilets and affordable hot drinks and healthy meals.
Ortus is operated by Maudsley Charity - Backing Better Mental Health for the benefit of local NHS staff, students, mental health service users and the wider community.

📢 Happy Monday! We have reopened and are ready to welcome you back to ORTUS!
And in more fantastic news, the building will now be open from 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday, including extended opening times for our cafe of 8am - 4:30pm. So you can meet, eat, study, work, and just enjoy our space for longer each day.🥪☕
ORTUS is an open-access building and everyone is welcome.

We're back!
From today, the ORTUS will be open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. The cafe will be open on those days until 2:30pm.
Join us for a coffee or a bite, a place to work, meet or be alone in the company of others. We love hosting you!

Happy New Year!
The ORTUS has reopened but will close for the day on Friday, January 7th, resuming normal opening hours on Monday, January 10th.
Our cafe will remain closed until January 10th.

Our café is closed until 6 September, but our building remains open whether you're looking for a space to work, meet, or enjoy spectacular views of London.
You are also welcome to visit our current exhibition, Unable To Think Without Touching curated by Bethlem Gallery, featuring artists who combine physical and digital approaches in the making and sharing of their art; connecting people through embodied experiences of the world.
Unable to Think Without Touching looks at the importance of bodily experiences and the use of digital technologies to connect with other people through the pandemic and beyond.
