A self-assured 18 course tasting menu from a former Ynishr chef. As you might expect, it’s protein-forward with layers and layers of technique and a mostly Japanese accented flavour profile.

Max has been honing this menu as an intimate supper club in his family home all this year, and will be popping up across London in 2026. Give him a follow. You won’t regret it.

Beef, unsurprisingly, from via .hampstead_

It’s the last weekend of the year at and we’re open with (slightly) limited stock, so get down in good time to avoid disappointment.

Then we’re off 28/29th and back on the 4th of Jan.

Thank you to everyone’s who supported The Beefsteaks this year. In many ways it’s been a terrible year… BUT we’ve had guests come to see us from Australia, Finland, Singapore and Japan. We’ve also had return guests from as long 8 years ago! And I got to be on TV thanks to an up-and-coming chef called or something. So plenty of reasons to be grateful.

2025 will bring big change one way or another so watch this space.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Yea! Alex. Xx
