He’s back in the land of the living - minus one perforated gallbladder 😅
People slate the NHS but they took great care of my boy and dealt with the emergency quickly and urgently. They are so overwhelmed with donuts who go to the a&e with complaints that don’t even need medical intervention - honestly I’ve heard it all in the past 3 days sitting in there 🤣 I don’t know how the staff do it I would most certainly be discharging people left right and centre!
I’m amazed at how resilient the human body is; and after seeing him fading before my eyes earlier in the week to him up and walking and eating again an hour after what turned out to be a bit of a long operation does feel a bit miraculous. I wouldn’t be surprised to have him home before the weekend is up too; judging by the number of people being treated in beds in corridors🫠

I didn’t want to be that person who looks like an attention seeker and checks in at the hospital 🤣🤣 but the muffin man isn’t well and hospitalised for the foreseeable. We have no idea how long he will be here but I am by his side all day every day until he gets better; and snatching a few hours a day to finish the cake orders (I haven’t cancelled a cake order EVER) when I can!
The girls are AMAZING and have snapped into action sorting out everything so I don’t have anything to worry about except getting my husband back on his feet ❤️
So if we take a bit longer to get back to you etc it’s because we are a bit stretched at the moment.
We are definitely at Aylesford this weekend, definitely at Bearsted carnival on Saturday and definitely at Limewood on Saturday - and still hoping to make the Broadway too - and the shop is open as normal ❤️❤️

We did decide to open today in the end, even if we are having a quiet day/week.
I feel like as a business owner it is important to show up and be consistent even when you don’t feel like it/the circumstances aren’t ideal.
We have AC; come for some respite and a chat if you don’t want cake 🤣🤣

We are going to have our teacher/Thankyou boxes on our website by the end of the day but we won’t have the samples ready until Wednesday!
We are going for a pastel rainbow and a bold colour scheme this year, or boxes of ‘Thankyou’ cupcakes in your chosen colour scheme (better for larger orders!)
