As the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
Today we hand the keys back to the brewery in hope that they are able to find a new tenant.
This is not a decision we wanted to make nor one that we made lightly.
We want to thank all of you that have supported us over the years and been there with us through laughter, tears, the good times and the hard times.
This is not goodbye, it’s see you soon.
Bryan & Natalie.

Wow! What a Christmas Day that was… 🤩
It was amazing to see the restaurant full of people enjoying their Christmas Lunch plus so many of you in for drinks in the bar. It truly was a phenomenal day with so much happiness in the air. 🥰
Big thank you to all of you for our cards, drinks, well wishes and gifts (including a stunning handmade wooden candle centrepiece from our good friend Graham Bourne). We are really grateful for all of your kindness and generosity. ☺️
Today is officially our Christmas Day with our family so we will be closed all day and night but back open tomorrow once we are all refreshed and recharged. 😴
Merry Christmas to each and every one of you and we look forward to seeing you all soon ❤️🎄🎅🏼

We are totally blown away by people’s generosity.
Whilst counting the monies raised tonight we received this phenomenal donation from the Henry Jenkins Memorial Society. 🤯
With this donation and what we have already received on Just giving it has taken us above our target of £1000!
Add into that the raffle ticket money and other monetary donations we are now looking at over £2500 raised!
A million thank yous to each and every one of you that have made this happen. We really do have a phenomenal community 💙🩵💙🩵 Alzheimer's Society
P.s I promise the raffle will be done tomorrow. I wanted to be able to do it with an impartial third party here so it’s fair for everyone

After a crazy day and night yesterday followed by a busy lunchtime today I have finally been able to sit down and catch up on some admin!
Due to prizes still being brought in (and my goodness there’s some amazing last minute items!) and selling over 4000 tickets, we have not been able to draw the raffle as yet. Plus there is now in excess of 60 prizes…
We do hope to have this done by tomorrow evening at the latest and once it is done we will post a list of the winners on our social media.
We will also endeavour to have our total amount raised by then as well.
Thank you for understanding

Here he is… the winner of the Knockout John Hope 🥳
It’s was a villager final between John and Dave Bell. Great games played by both Men and the atmosphere was amazing.
Not only did John win the tournament but he was the one to throw the final dart to get our 50,001 points.
Well done John and a HUGE thank you for your support and dedication throughout the day and for also donating your winnings to the charity.
A special mention to the members of our ladies and men’s darts teams that came and threw arrows too to help us achieve our goal.
A shout out to Military Craftmanshipfor their donation of the winners plaque. Your generosity and support is, as always, appreciated.
