Ask ten Filipinos how to make Adobo, and you’ll get ten different answers. 🍗
Some like it sweet, some want it swimming in vinegar, and others go heavy on the garlic. Everyone has their "secret," but at Lola’s Kitchen, I don’t play games with the flavour.
My Adobo is bold, savoury, and properly marinated until the meat is falling apart. No shortcuts, no rushed prep—just that deep, authentic taste that makes you feel like you’re sitting back in a kitchen at home.
That’s the standard I’m bringing to Fife. If it’s not rich, dark, and perfect, it doesn’t leave my kitchen. 🧡
How do you like your Adobo? Extra sauce or extra garlic? Tell Lola below! 👇

This is why I do what I do. 🧡
Reading things like this makes all the hard work at the stove worth it. Hearing that folk were raving about the food at the next table? That’s the best compliment a cook can get.
When you support a small kitchen like mine, you’re not just buying a meal. You’re helping us grow, helping tradition stay alive, and bringing a real taste of home to Scotland.
To everyone who has ordered, shared a post, or left a review—Salamat. You aren’t just customers to me; you’re the community that keeps Lola’s Kitchen going.
Have you left us a review yet? It helps more than you know. 🧡👇
