In the grand scheme of things - we’re closing a restaurant; we’re not changing the course of history. HOWEVER, last night felt as if we truly did give Forza Win the send off it deserved. A room full of community, and people who have worked in, on, adjacent to, supported, supplied or written about Forza Win over the years. Not everyone was there, we’d need a stadium for that, but what a beautiful send off it was and a reminder that hospitality truly can be an accessible, beautiful and happy place if it’s done right. Long live and all who sail within her.

GOOD NEWS. WE’RE DOING ONE FINAL LUNCH. THIS SATURDAY (22ND), 12-2, WALK-INS ONLY. COME AND SAY GOODBYE AND EAT WHAT WE’VE GOT LEFT. WHEN IT’S GONE IT’S GONE. BREAD, WINE, SPAGHETTI… SO ACTUALLY VERY LIKE THE LAST SUPPER IF IT WAS EARLIER IN THE DAY. ALSO IF WE RUN OUT OF FOOD WE’LL JUST STOP. CHEERS!!!

We said we’d have more soon about the future of our Camberwell space so here it is. Big drumroll n that.
Without further ado, we are v pleased to introduce you to hello JoJo, a new restaurant and bakery, which will open at 31 Camberwell Church St. Basically, a few weeks ago we met these two locals called Jo and Rob who were working on opening their own restaurant. It was serendipitous timing (always love the opportunity to say serendipitous) and we’re chuffed to be handing the keys over to two genuinely good eggs. [M&S advert lady voice] This is not popcorn chicken. These are popcorn duck hearts. A bit crispy, then very tender, big blob of lemon aioli for dunking. On our antipasti menu leading up to Valentine’s Day because we took the whole heart thing... to heart. We’re offal-ling in love with them! Alright that’s enough.
