You may have noticed our notice on the shutter today, we are now closed until 6th of September, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause…
For afternoon tea and buffet collections please call us on 01708 747806 when you have arrived and we will bring your goodies to you, we will call you on the morning of your collections and deliveries as standard anyway.

Another proud moment for our team..
We’ve received a wonderful email and certificate to say we have been recognised on the restaurant guru website and given a recommendation award!
Our certificate is on our window if you scan the QR code it’ll take you straight to our menu 🙂
This just goes to show what your feedback does, please keep sharing your positivity, it’s such a reward to our team when you do 🙂
Also, thanks to all your recommendations, since mid July we are almost booked up every weekend up until the end of September so if you’re looking for afternoon teas and buffets please make sure you have a chat with us about your enquiry in time!
All we ask for is a £20 non-refundable deposit, changes can still be made to bookings upto a week prior to your event.
HOLIDAY CLOSING
As mentioned in a previous post, we will be closing for a short time to enjoy some family time away from the bakery.
We will be closed to the public between:
19th august - 6th September
We are just closing the shop for walk Ins; buffets and teas booked will be honored as planned 🙂

Good morning everyone and happy summer holidays!
How to tell it’s the holidays?… it rains!
We will soon be moving to our new page so please follow .
Our latest news and updates will ONLY be posted here shortly so don’t miss out!
OPENING HOUR CHANGES
During the holidays our opening times are now
Monday- Saturday
8am-2pm
We are also closed for a week at the end of august, dates for this to come.
DONATING UNWANTED ITEMS
We’ve been hearing a lot of people leaving donated goods outside the shops, please do not do this!
It makes life hard for the guys there as they aren’t able to take much at the moment and they are having to dry/sort these items.
We are a St. Francis DROP SPOT, so any unwanted items you wish to donate, please bring them to us and we can forward them accordingly.
CATERING
Got a party or an event coming up?
We already have a few dates in august and September fully booked, so to avoid disappointment, book in advance with us for a small deposit.
Message on Facebook or call us on 01798 747806, once a deposit is made your booking has been created.
Changes can be made until a few days before the event so you needn’t worry.

As the holidays are coming up, there may be a time where you’re unsure what to do with the little ones… here’s something for you!

Or find a footpath in amongst our beautiful fields and all you have to do is count the butterflies!

The cobs bakery family are GUTTED about the loss of the game just as much as you, let us know if you want a tea or coffee with your other purchases this morning and we’ll help to sooth the heartbreak.
We’re still proud, Well done to our team for making it to the finals and playing your best 🏴
Also, a huge thank you to those businesses that celebrated along with us and stayed open longer to keep that game going for us!
