On the wall outside Hanbury Hall you will find the Huguenot Plaque of twenty Delft tiles designed by Paul Bommer.
The plaque was commissioned by the Huguenots of Spitalfields and the tiles tell the story of Britain’s first refugees.

What people say
Hanbury Hall is a tea room located in the heart of London's Hanbury Street. This historic building was originally a French Huguenot church built in 1719 and has since been used for many noteworthy events, including public readings by Charles Dickens and as the meeting place for the 1888 Match girls strike. The recent restoration and makeover of this national heritage building have seamlessly combined contemporary Spitalfields style with its historical charm.
The high ceilings and windows of Hanbury Hall bathe the room in natural daylight, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The versatile mezzanine can be used as gallery space or for pre-dinner drinks, making it an ideal venue for any occasion. Additionally, full projector and AV facilities are available for conferences.
Whether you're looking to enjoy a cup of tea or host an event, Hanbury Hall is the perfect destination. Its rich history and stunning architecture make it a must-visit location in London.
