What people say
The Constitution is a true gem in the heart of Camden. This traditional English pub has been around for 150 years and still offers all the classic pub pursuits, including ales and beers, pool table, dartboard, jukebox, and fruit and quiz machines. The lunchtime pub grub is delicious and affordable, with everything under five pounds.
What really sets The Con apart is the friendly and super-efficient bar staff. They provide service that's faster than anywhere else in Camden. The beautiful beer garden has won numerous awards for Best Beer Garden in the Camden In Bloom and London in Bloom competitions. It's south-facing and overlooks Regent’s Canal, making it an oasis in the middle of bustling Camden.
The smoking area is heated during winter so you can enjoy your drinks outside all year round. And if you're looking for live music, head to The Con's cellar bar - it's been called the best kept secret on the Camden live music scene. Jazz lovers will especially enjoy First Friday every month when top young players take to the intimate underground venue with natural good acoustics.
Overall, The Constitution is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a traditional English pub experience with great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere.
