👮🍻 40 YEARS LATER… BACK WHERE IT ALL BEGAN! ☘️🤚
What a fantastic moment here at the Friend at Hand as we welcomed back four retired police officers who returned to the very place where their journey first started some 40 years ago! 🍻👏
A lot of memories, plenty of stories to tell, and no doubt a few laughs along the way! 😂 It’s moments like these that remind us what a proper pub is all about — friendships, memories, and bringing people back together, no matter how many years have passed.
Here’s to old friends, great memories, and many more pints at the Friend at Hand! 🍺☘️

It’s always a pleasure welcoming Pauline & Graham, our lovely regular visitors who travel down from Yorkshire to see us here at the Friend at Hand several times throughout the year! ☘️🍻

🎉🎂 A VERY SPECIAL SUNDAY AT THE FRIEND AT HAND! ☘️❤️
What a lovely occasion we had today! 🥂 Gaye, on the right, surprised her dear friend with a fabulous birthday banner to celebrate her 80th birthday! 🎈🎊 What a wonderful way to mark such a special milestone, surrounded by friendship, laughter and a little celebration!
The ladies enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch with our roast lamb and beef, followed by some lovely desserts 🍖🥩🍨 — the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
From all of us here at the Friend at Hand, we’d like to wish the birthday girl a very happy 80th birthday, filled with happiness, good health and many more wonderful memories! 🥳🥂

We had the pleasure of welcoming Sir George to the pub today, and what a little superstar he was! 🐶❤️ He certainly caused quite a stir with our guests, stealing plenty of attention, smiles and probably a few hearts along the way! 😍
Always love welcoming our four-legged friends to the Friend at Hand — although George may have just become our most popular guest! 👑🐾

A huge welcome to this lovely couple visiting London together for the very first time! 🥰🍻
