While we invite everyone to enjoy a tea and a scone amongst our bouncy and youthful café residents, we also devote ourselves to the cats upstairs who will likely never come in to the main café space you are used to seeing!

Behind the scenes, we also make space for rescuing cats from all walks of life like Shortie, who was abandoned after his owners passed away. He is currently in our care at 14 years old with osteoarthritis and symptoms of cat flu, and has slowly began to trust us with gentle pets and chin scratches, we are determined to find him a loving home!

As the café evolves we want to create more dedicated space for cats like him who are more vulnerable and would not benefit from the excitable company of our crazy cats and kittens, but we hope to make you aware that when you support us by booking a visit, you are also helping us provide care for the critters you may not meet!

Poirot, Baloo & Silvius have a special kind of relationship! We thought at first it was just Poirot & Silvius having found love at the cafe but Baloo has now joined this couple, making it a throuple 🙀🥰
Lady Dinah's has always strived to be an inclusive and accepting place and so we are over the moon that these boys feel free enough to be themselves. 🐈⬛🌈🐈🌈🐈⬛

It’s hard to believe how much has happened over the last year. Moving, rebuilding and re-establishing Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium has been a rollercoaster! 🎢🐈
And while we’re definitely still finding our feet, there’s already so much to celebrate.
✨ Our new home: The Catty Sark ⛵️ (yes, this is what I call it now, and I will not be taking questions).
🍰 Our onsite bakery: Miss Kasumu is an absolutely brilliant baker, making our menu from scratch and filling Lady Dinah's 2.0 with some seriously delicious & vegan treats.
It was important to Freyja that the food & beverage offering at The Cat Emporium supported all animals whilst still offering our guests what they want. Our menu is free from meat & eggs and dairy is limited to additional choices like milk for coffee and cream for scones. This balance seems to be working so far!
👻 New merchandise: We’ve recently partnered with Frightening Felines to bring their beautiful handmade creations into The Cat Emporium.
🌿 Our covered Catio: The cats are LOVING their outdoor space, and it means so much to us to be able to give them outdoor space while they’re living here.
🐱 And, most importantly, our new clowder of rescue cats: Some of you won’t have met everyone yet, because introducing cats takes time. Sometimes it works beautifully, sometimes it doesn’t, and that’s okay. Every cat is different, and we’ll always let them set the pace when it comes to introductions.
There’s still plenty of tinkering happening behind the scenes. Things are a work in progress and will continue to evolve as we see what works in practice, listen to what our guests need and figure out what’s sustainable for us long-term. 😽
And believe me, when I say everything gets discussed behind the scenes… I mean EVERYTHING. 😵💫🙀 There are a lot of conversations happening in this little cat-shaped pocket of Greenwich 😺
Things will come, one whisker at a time, and we’re so incredibly grateful to everyone who has stuck with us, supported us, visited us, cheered us on and believed in Lady Dinah’s through all the changes. 😻💛

Wonderful news! Jinx has been reserved for Adoption! 🎉🐾🎉
It has been an honour to get to know his huge whimsical character as the first cat to walk through the doors of the new Lady Dinah’s! He will be travelling to his pur-fect fur-ever home on the 18th of August, meaning the final chance for you to send him off with a bittersweet farewell will be during our opening hours on the 16th August, 10am-5am 💌📮
Jinx has had a very chaotic journey through his life so far, travelling all the way from Turkey, so it is our biggest joy to know he will finally be able to settle once and for all!

Late but not forgotten…. Happy International Cat Day!✨🐾✨
What would we be without our furry idols! On this special day we honour all of the purr-fect residents that we have had the pleasure of rescuing and rehoming through the long history of Lady Dinah’s! There would be no cat cafe without cats, and we would have never experienced the extraordinary cuteness of such strange, gentle, companions. We hold so much love for all the cats who have found their fur-ever homes through the cafe system and only hope to keep creating spaces for humans and animals to feel safe and cherished, and wholly celebrated all year round! 🎉😸🌹🍄

There is never a dull week at a cat cafe! If the cats aren't just being their lovable, goofy selves then there's all sorts going on behind the scenes. 🤭

7) Iso Cat Luna gets neutered 💅
8) One of our wonderful Volunteers fixed up a little cradle for the Tuxedo kittens
9 & 10) Turns out Iso Cat Star was indeed pregnant and ready to go. We'll share more about Star & her babies soon but for now everyone is healthy 🐈⬛

Jinx has made himself known for his strange taste in toys, loud speeches, and clever techniques for opening even the heaviest of doors. We aren’t certain he won’t just stand up and walk on his back legs one day…. 🐾
We have loved his eccentricity since he first arrived with the Starter Clowder and have now begun his adoption process!!!✨
Jinx is a handsome big boy cat, around 3.5 years old, who travelled from Turkey to the UK and had quite the difficult life before joining our cat family. Due to being mishandled by young children in his previous home, he can be wary of affection from strangers so cafe life is not for him long-term. He requires a fur-ever home that offers him understanding and allows him to build trust on his terms!
Jinx is very intelligent and good at setting his boundaries and loves to show his lovely squishy side when they are respected. Because of this we feel he will be best suited to an experienced single-cat household, where he doesn’t need to share any attention.
He could live with calm children over 14 years old and would thrive with access to an outdoor space! 🌿🍄
Jinx is full of playful energy, wisdom, and the funniest of stances 😸 we often theorise he will show us his true spirit-like form one day 🌟🌹

How has it been 1 year already! 😭😭 time really flies when you're busy rebuilding a cat cafe. 😸
