Meet Poirot, our 4-month-old kitten 🔎
Named for that very distinguished moustache 🥸
Found as a palm sized fluffball in an abandoned building by a firefighter, Poirot made his way to us via the same vet as Prince (thanks Martina 😉).
He’s wasted no time making himself known, meowing for attention, purring for cuddles, all from his playpen 🛝
While waiting for his vaccinations, Poirot has been helping us socialise a shy semi-feral kitten. (That little one will get their own into soon 🥰)
Now he’s meeting the big cats and our guests, charming everyone in sight. He loves chasing springs, batting felt balls, and befriending Baloo 🐈⬛
Safe to say, Poirot is quickly becoming the cafés tiniest celebrity ❤️

Introducing Baloo 🐻 the first cat to join LD 2.0’s Starter Clowder!
Baloo is a slinky, springy one year old boy who loves nothing more than cuddles and playtime, whether it’s with humans or other cats. 🐈⬛ He’s already giving Prince a run for his money as the most active cat in the café.
We discovered Baloo at an animal sanctuary just outside London. He had recently been surrendered by a family who could no longer care for him. He was straight in for cuddles which made it was clear from the very first moment that he’d make a perfect café cat. 😸
Fun fact: we were actually there to collect another cat…more on him later! 🐾

Our starter clowder has been soaking up lots of well-deserved love and attention from our Crowndfunders over the past couple of weeks 🐾💛
But while they’ve been busy being adored, our team has been hard at work behind the scenes getting some more feline friends ready for café life…
Here’s a small sneak peek at the cats who might be joining the clowder in the weeks ahead. Their names are still to come, we’re letting them tell us who they are first. 🐱✨

The boys completed their first 4 days with guests last week, we’re so proud of them. They are enjoying a well deserved rest now, all that playtime is hardwork 😸 Thank you to the crowdfunders who have popped in to see us, so nice to see familiar faces and share what we’ve been working on. ♥️
Shoutout to the team who have been working hard to help settle in the cats and welcoming guests despite system mishaps and all the things that go wrong upon opening the doors. 💪 on to week 2 ✨✨ lots of you are asking when we will open properly, for now only our Crowdfunders can book as we settle in the cats and finish building the kitchen. We will announce the official opening soon. Watch this space 👀

Introducing LD2’s starter clowder! Our third cat is Jinx 🤍
Jinx came from a family, who couldn’t look after him anymore. A story many of our cats have had! He’s the biggest cat of our clowder, weighing is at 6kg 💪.
Out of the 3 cats, he was the first to come out to explore the new café and play with us! He currently likes a bit of string or shoelace. 🧵
Jinx is an independent boy and will always let you know when he’s ready to play, cuddle or be left alone - a very vocal cat who has stolen the hearts of the team and friends! 😻

Introducing LD2’s starter clowder! Next up is Little Prince 👑
Little Prince was young stray cat who had been attacked by a larger animal and sustained injuries to his neck. He was taken to a vet by a nice person who had been feeding strays in their area. Fortunately for Prince they were able to treat his injuries and luckily the VCA was an ex-Lady Dinah’s cat carer and asked if we could take him in. 🩹
Prince has been living with Freyja since then. His injuries have healed and he’s now a bright, playful teen cat. He can be a bit jumpy sometimes but has been settling well into cafe life. As long as he has a playmate in either human or cat form, he is a happy cat! 😸

Introducing LD2’s starter clowder! First up is Charlie II - a very regal name for a regal young boy. 🤴
Charlie (initially Charlotte until we found out he was a boy) was a tiny stray kitten found in a bush in Blackheath. Angel Investors family found him and after they were unable to find a previous owner, they decided to take him in. 😻
He is now around 6 months old and since being in the cafe, Charlie has found himself a good spot on a scratcher and loves the team approaching him for cuddles and playtime. 😸
You may notice Charlie has sore eyes sometimes. The vets assure us it isn’t infectious and think it is allergies so the team are keeping them clean while we figure out what it could. ♥️

Without further ado, 🥁🥁🥁🥁 Our new location is “The Catty Sark” 😸
LD2 will officially be in Greenwich town, just outside the market square. ⚓️
Anyone local to Greenwich may have already seen our “coming soon” sign go up and possibly saw us painting the shopfront last weekend.

I was hoping to have our booking system open by now but we’ve hit some work delays this week..but I’ll be sure to keep you updated as I know more.

You’ve all been so patient, thank you all so much! 🫶 After a long negotiation process we have finally signed a lease and work has begun to turn a new premises into the cat cafe we all miss ❤️ Who wants to play a game of guess our new location? 🤭 Lady Dinah’s has always enjoyed a good cat pun so please enjoy our London location cat puns and let us know where you think the new location is?😻 🐾 Great Pawtland Street featuring Daz? 🐈 Cattersea featuring Merry? 😻 The Catty Sark featuring Tink? 🐈⬛ Meownument featuring a baby Sally? For anyone disappointed that we couldn’t take the tree with us, believe me I would if I could, I’ve done the next best thing and ripped some branches off the walls. 💪🌳 we’ll see how they can be used in the next venue ✨ As an small update for you all, we spent this week clearing out as much as possible from the old premises, cars and vans packed full of cat trees, branches, merch and all sorts. A big thanks to my sister, friends and Angel Investor+family for the help with this task. We have a possible new venue but our solicitors are negotiating the lease and this could still take some time. We hope to have more news soon! 🫶 Swipe through for Tinky judging new venue signage 😻

Even though we’re not yet reopen, our mission remains the same — to assist in rehoming cats who need a second chance at life.
Right now, we want to help one of the veterinary branches we’re registered with to find a loving forever home for a sweet stray in their care. This little one has had a tough start, but with the right family, her story could have the happiest ending. ❤️
🐈The sweet girl was found as a stray and is around a year old. She isn’t vaccinated or spayed, but is a huge sweetie who just wants love and playtime!
Upon arrival at the clinic, she had some itchy scabs around her body, but is currently being treated for them and her skin is looking better each day! She has also been treated for fleas and worms!
🐈⬛We’re unsure if she’ll get along with another cat, potentially a friendly and calm one, but preferably she’d like to live in an only one cat household.
🐕We’re unsure how she’ll get along with a dog, so preferably no dog households.
👧🏻 She could get along with children, as long as they are respectful of her boundaries.
